New buildings in school...

Hello there blogging world! In the beginning of the week, we moved into the new Te waka ako building (the canoe of learning). All last year we have been waiting to enter the classrooms. Sadly the year sixes from last year didn't have a chance to enter it but here we are, all the year sixes and fives inside the classrooms having fun. In the beginning of the week we had a ceremony to celebrate the entrance of the seniors. The MP of Mt Roskill came to cut the ribbon,  the kapa haka team did a dance and we tried out all the new furniture inside. For the past 5 days we have enjoyed being inside these amazing buildings. And the best thing about it, is that all the three classes are together to work in one group. Here are some photos of the ceremony. please feel free to comment. Thanks for reading this blog post and until next time. Bye!๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜Š

  2. Hi Serene,

My name is Gary and I am from Tamaki Primary School, located in Panmure. From reading your blog post it looks like your new classroom was well worth the wait. Before you guys went in, what were your thoughts on the new building? Is the building now, above your expectations? Our school, had a new classroom in 2015, it was a massive class with much more space for learning kids.

I was looking forward to the new opening but sadly I didn't have the chance to properly learn in it. But it seems like your class is enjoying the new classroom! Your description is great, but next time you should try and add in some paragraphs and photos just to make your post more eyecatching.

Other then that keep up the great work!

    Gary
